Tulungagung, 12 June 2026 – UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah (UIN ONE) Tulungagung reaffirms its commitment to building a culture of quality through implementation Socialization of University Quality Standards which was held on Friday (12/6/2026) Of Rectorate Hall Floor 3 UIN One Tulungagung. Activities initiated by the Quality Assurance Institute (LPM) This is one of the strategic steps in strengthening the implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) throughout the work unit.
The activity was officially opened by Rector of UIN One Tulungagung, Prof. Dr. Badruzaman Century, Lc., M.Ag. In his speech, He emphasized that quality is the main foundation in creating superior and competitive higher education. According to him, Achieving institutional quality does not only depend on quality documents, but also on the commitment of the entire academic community in implementing quality standards consistently in every aspect of implementing the Tridharma of Higher Education.

“A culture of quality must be the character of every work unit within the UIN SATU Tulungagung environment. Through the implementation of good quality standards, we don't just meet accreditation demands, but also build public trust in the quality of the educational services we provide,” said the Chancellor in his speech.
Socialization brings Prof. Dr. Budiyono Saputro, S.Pd., M.Pd. as the main resource person. In his presentation, he explained various policies and directions for developing the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI), starting from understanding higher education quality standards, implementation of quality documents, to the importance of cycles Determination, Implementation, Evaluation, Control, and Improvement (PPEPP) as the main instrument in ensuring continued improvement in institutional quality.
Prof. Budiyono Saputro emphasized that quality assurance should not be seen as a mere administrative burden, but rather as a system that is able to encourage continuous quality improvement. Consistent implementation of quality standards will help each work unit carry out self-evaluation, identify opportunities for improvement, and produce increasingly quality academic and non-academic services.
This activity was attended by university leaders, faculty leader, chairman and secretary of the study program, head of unit, lecturer, as well as educational staff in the UIN SATU Tulungagung environment. During the socialization process, Participants showed high enthusiasm through discussion and question and answer sessions that discussed various challenges in implementing quality standards, preparation of supporting documents, strengthening performance indicators, as well as strategies for building a quality culture at the faculty level, study program, and work units.
Through this activity, It is hoped that the entire academic community will have the same perception and commitment in implementing quality standards consistently in their respective environments. With a better understanding of the Internal Quality Assurance System, Each work unit is expected to be able to carry out the PPEPP cycle optimally so as to create a continuous quality improvement process.
