Tulungagung, 12 June 2026 – Quality Assurance Agency (LPM) Islamic University of Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah State (UIN ONE) Tulungagung held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) Standardization of the Implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education and Socialization of Quality Standards Documents on Friday, 12 June 2026 located on the Rectorate Building Floor 3 UIN One Tulungagung.
This activity was attended by university leaders, head teacher, dean, academic and structural office, Chair and member of the Faculty Quality Assurance Group (GPMF), as well as various elements of the academic community within UIN SATU Tulungagung.
The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by singing the songs Indonesia Raya and Mars UIN SATU. Furthermore, Head of Quality Assurance Institute (LPM) UIN ONE, Prof. Dr. Agus Zaenul Fitri, M.Pd., deliver a welcome and introduction to the activity.
In his speech, Prof. Agus Zaenul Fitri emphasized that strengthening the quality assurance system is an important aspect in supporting improving the quality of higher education implementation. Through this FGD activity, LPM seeks to build a common perception regarding the implementation of quality standards that cover all aspects of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely education, study, and dedication to the community.
The activity then continued with directions and the official opening of the FGD by the Deputy Chancellor I for Academic and Institutional Development at UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung, Prof. Dr. H. Badruzaman Century, Lc., M.Ag. In his command, he emphasized the importance of preparing and implementing quality standard documents as guidelines in realizing quality academic governance, measurable, and sustainable.
Prof. Abad Badruzaman said that quality standards must be an instrument capable of encouraging increased performance of all work units, as well as being the basis for implementing quality evaluation and development in the university environment. Therefore, All elements of the academic community are expected to actively participate in the preparation process, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of established standards. He also officially opened the FGD activity as part of efforts to strengthen the quality culture within UIN SATU.
Entering the main session, FGD led by Dr. Ida Isnawati, M.Pd., as Head of the LPM UIN SATU Quality Standards Development Center. On this occasion, Participants received material presentation from Prof. Dr. Budiyono Saputro, M.Pd. regarding standardization of the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education and strengthening quality standard documents as control instruments, evaluation, and improving the quality of higher education.
The discussion took place actively and constructively with various input from participants from the faculty, study program, as well as related units. It is hoped that the various suggestions and recommendations produced in this FGD can become the basis for improving a more comprehensive quality standard document, applicative, and in accordance with institutional needs.
Through this activity, LPM UIN SATU Tulungagung is committed to continuing to strengthen the culture of quality within the university environment to support the achievement of UIN SATU's vision as a superior Islamic higher education institution., competitive, and has a reputation at national and international levels.
