Tulungagung, 11 September 2025 - State Islamic University (UIN) Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung implemented Management Review Meeting (RTM) on Thursday (11/09). This activity, which was held at the local campus, was attended by all university leaders, starting from top management to bottom level, as a form of joint commitment to improving academic quality and services.
In his speech, Head of Quality Assurance Institute (LPM) emphasized the importance of RTM activities as a follow-up to the Internal Quality Audit (AMI).
“How do we expose AMI's findings, then we look for the root of the problem. After that we follow up via RTM, RTL, as well as the signing of the relevant parties. This activity is very important for ISO. This ISO is what we focus on ISO:9001 (QMS) dan ISO:21001 (Academic),he explained.
He also added that ISO 9001 focusing on Quality Management System (QMS) or service quality management system provided by institutions under the bureau, sow ISO 21001 more emphasis on academic quality. Thus, It is hoped that these two quality standards will be able to strengthen university governance both in terms of services and academic administration.
Meanwhile, UIN Chancellor Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung in his speech expressed his appreciation to all levels of leadership and work units who are committed to maintaining quality.
“RTM is not just an evaluation forum, but also a momentum for reflection and continuous improvement. We want to ensure that every service, both academic and non-academic, truly quality oriented. ISO implementation 9001 dan ISO 21001 is a strategic step to make UIN SATU more professional, accountable, and able to compete at national and international levels,"said the Chancellor.
This meeting became a strategic momentum for UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung to strengthen its quality culture, strengthen the commitment of all leaders, as well as ensuring the continuity of ISO implementation consistently and continuously.
