UIN One of the ISO Executive Briefing Title for Strengthening Governance and Service Quality

UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung – In order to strengthen the implementation of the quality management system, UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah (UIN ONE) Tulungagung held Executive Briefing ISO on Thursday, 18 September 2025 located in the UIN SATU Rectorate Building. Activities that take place start at 08.00 until 12.00 This WIB presents national sources, And. Sholihin Agung Darmawan And Prof. Dr. H. Sugeng Listyo Prabowo, M.Pd. expert in the field of ISO.

This Executive Briefing was attended by University Leadership (Top Management), Faculty Leaders, Unit Leader, as well as institutions within UIN SATU. The event was opened by the Chairman of the Quality Assurance Institute (LPM) which emphasizes the importance of a shared understanding of ISO standards as a foundation for improving the quality of academic and non-academic services.

  

In his speech, the Chancellor of UIN SATU said that implementing ISO is not just about fulfilling administrative standards, but is an effort to build a consistent quality culture throughout the university. "This activity is an important momentum to equalize perceptions and develop strategic steps to improve the quality of services towards a superior campus, competitive, and international standards,” he stressed.

In the main session, Narasumber Ir. Sholihin Agung Darmawan gave a presentation on best practices in implementing ISO in higher education institutions, including strategies for facing the challenges of the digital era. Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. H. Sugeng Listyo Prabowo, M.Pd. underlines the importance of leadership commitment in building a sustainable quality assurance system.

This Executive Briefing activity ended with an interactive discussion, where are the faculty leaders, unit, and institutions convey their views and ISO implementation strategies according to their respective contexts.

By holding this activity, It is hoped that all UIN SATU leaders will be more solid in supporting the implementation of the ISO quality management system, so as to improve the quality of educational services, study, and dedication to the community.
