[Tulungagung, 28 April 2025] - In order to improve the quality of education management and organizational services, UIN SATU Tulungagung held Workshop ISO Certification Assistance 21001:2018 dan ISO 9001:2015 which took place at the ISO secretariat, on 28-30 April 2025.
This workshop was followed by 166 participants consisting of leader, head of the institution, head of unit, GPM and Task Force Team. This activity aims to provide intensive assistance in preparing for ISO certification 21001:2018, educational organization management system standards, ISO serta 9001:2015, international quality management system standards.
In his speech, The Deputy Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Institutional Development is familiarly known as Abah (Prof. Dr. Badruzaman Century, Lc., M.Ag.) conveyed the importance of implementing international standards in the UIN SATU environment. “ISO implementation 21001 dan ISO 9001 it's not just about meeting standards, but about building a sustainable culture of quality within our organization,"He said.
This workshop presents resource persons who are experienced in implementing quality management systems and educational organization management systems. The material provided includes an understanding of the basic principles of ISO, preparation of quality documents, risk analysis, to internal audit simulations.
During mentoring sessions, Participants were also invited to carry out direct practice such as preparing SOP documents, quality policy, until filling out the audit format. Expected, with this workshop, UIN SATU can be better prepared to face the certification process and increase stakeholder trust.
With strong commitment from all parties, UIN SATU is optimistic that it can achieve ISO certification 21001:2018 dan ISO 9001:2015, and continue to improve service quality on an ongoing basis.
