Internal Quality Audit in the Sharia Economics Undergraduate Study Program at UIN SATU Tulungagung: Momentum for Evaluation and Commitment in Improving Education Quality

UIN Sharia Economic Study Program UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung conducted an internal quality audit (AMI) as part of an effort to ensure the quality and relevance of education provided. This activity was led by the lead auditor, Dr. Yudi Krisno Wicaksono, M.IP, accompanied by other auditors, Febranti Putri Navion and Ivan Aship Ardhana. Coordinator of the Sharia Economics Study Program, Dr. Bint Nur Asiyah, M.Si, was also present to accompany the implementation of this audit.

Comprehensive Document-Based Evaluation

This audit reviews various important aspects that are indicators of the quality of the study program. Some of the strategic documents examined include the Strategic Plan (Renstra), Operational plan (Renop), as well as strategies for achieving the Study Program (PS) that has been aligned with the vision, mission, objective, and targets (VMTS) College.

Dr. Yudi Krisno Wicaksono, M.IP emphasized the importance of aligning documents with institutional needs. "We really appreciate the suitability of the study program's vision and mission with the higher education VMTS. This shows that the Sharia Economics Department has specific guidelines aimed at achieving its targets,"He said.

Besides that, academic documents in the form of a curriculum based on Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (Mbkm) is also in the spotlight. "The preparation of the MBKM-based curriculum has been supported by an official Decree. This is a positive step in increasing the flexibility and competitiveness of graduates,” said Febranti Putri Navion.

Improved Student Facilities

In the field of student services and development, The study program has provided a variety of support to develop interests, talent, and student reasoning. Among these is a collaboration program with the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) for the statistics corner and training in writing scientific papers.

“We continue to strive to provide the best service to students, including through strategic collaboration that provides real benefits for developing student competencies,” explained Dr. Bint Nur Asiyah, M.Si.

 

Adequate Lecturer Ratio and Qualifications

The availability of lecturer data is also one of the aspects that is audited. Evidence in the form of a degree, functional position, and lecturer certification is in accordance with established standards and ratios. “Lecturers in the Sharia Economics Study Program have qualifications that meet academic standards. This is one of the advantages in the learning process,” said Ivan Aship Ardhana.

Conclusion

This audit provides recommendations to continue improving quality in various aspects. All the findings show that the Sharia Economics Department has a strong commitment to improving the quality of education and student services.

“With this audit, We hope that the Sharia Economics Department can continue to improve and maintain the quality of education so that it remains relevant and competitive,” concluded Dr. Yudi Krisno Wicaksono, M.IP.
