Tulungagung – State Islamic University (UIN) Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung is facing an important moment in his journey as a higher education institution, by undergoing a Field Assessment (AL) Higher Education Accreditation (APT) carried out by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT). This assessment took place at the Prajna Paramitha Building, UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung.
In this assessment process, there is 4 the assessor sent by BAN-PT namely Prof. Dr. Drs. Ahmad Thib Raya, MA., BA. (UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta), Prof. Dr. Khoiruddin MA (UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta), Prof. Dr. Ris'an Rusli, MA. (Raden Fatah State Islamic University, Palembang), and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Rohmadi, M. Hum. (Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta). Apart from assessors, This event was attended by several invited guests, like the Regent of Tulungagung, East Java Regional Office, and much more. Besides that, In this activity there were also stands containing the works of lecturers and students which were exhibited and packaged at the Expo. Besides that, also two records for UIN SATU students in writing the thickest book 130 cm years 2020 and the Longest Calligraphy Painting 1500 m in year 2023. The existence of these stands does not only enliven the activities of AL APT UIN SATU, but also provide complete information to BAN-PT assessors and invited guests about various achievements and accomplishments of UIN SATU.
This event began with the reading of the ummul book by Ustadz Rizal Furqan Ramadhan, S.Kom., M.T. which was continued by singing the national anthem Indonesia Raya and Mars UIN SATU. Then, The prayer reading was led by Prof. Dr. Imam Fuadi, M.Ag.
The event continued with remarks by the Chancellor of UIN SATU, namely Prof. Dr. Abd. Aziz, M.Pd.I. He thanked all the guests for coming. In his speech, he emphasized that he was ready to receive direction and guidance. He also said that the task force team and the entire UIN SATU committee had worked hard in preparing the accreditation process from the beginning until now.
The event continued with remarks from assessor representatives, Prof. Dr. Drs. Third Raya, In Ba. He expressed his gratitude for the assistance and information provided by UIN SATU in the Field Assessment process. Besides that, he emphasized that the assessor team assigned by BAN PT came to UIN SATU to confirm the data which this data would report to BAN PT.
At the end of this Field Assessment event, The Assessor Team advised that UIN SATU must continue to improve the quality and quantity of human resources, Consistent and continuous implementation of SPMI, and Internationalization of Higher Education. The event closed with the assessor team and also the leaders of UIN SATU signing the Minutes of the UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung Higher Education Accreditation Field Assessment.
