Tulungagung, 28 September 2023 – Quality Assurance Institute (LPM) State Islamic University (UIN) Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung held an auditor training for internal quality audits (AMI) with the aim of improving the quality of auditors who can conduct assessments, evaluation, and examine the evidence of academic implementation.
The implementation of AMI auditors is a strategic step to ensure that the auditor has an in -depth understanding of the implementation of internal quality audits, especially in the environmental context of the study program, faculty, postgraduate, and the units in UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung.
The event that lasted for 3 day, starting from Tuesday to Thursday, 26-28 September 2023, at Crown Victoria Tulungagung, supported by experts and auditor experts from Decra Surabaya. Trainees, consists of lecturers who will later become auditors, given knowledge about the techniques of implementing internal quality audits, including direct practice as an auditor and auditee.
In the guidance session, Participants are invited to develop audit questions and understand the importance of auditor and auditee involvement in carrying out the assessment. This activity is expected to maintain the quality of academic governance at UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung.
Moh. Arif, The head of the audit center, state, “The needs of the auditor are considered important to ensure the implementation of the auditor in the study program at UIN Satu Tulungagung. This training is designed to provide the introduction of audit techniques needed in maintaining the quality of academic governance in the university environment.”
By followed by 40 participant, It is hoped that this event can increase the number of competent auditors in carrying out quality audits evenly on existing study programs. This training is a proactive step in supporting the sustainability of internal quality audit activities in order to improve the quality of higher education at UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung.
