Tulungagung, 25 August 2023 – State Islamic University (UIN) Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung, always tries to provide valuable experience for its students by holding socialization events on the Form of Independent Learning Activities at the Independent Campus (BKP MBKM) For Odd Semester Lecturers and Students of the Academic Year 2023/2024. This event was held at the Syaifuddin Zuhri Building Floor 6 UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung, starting at 08.00 until 12.00 WIB. A lot 150 students and 50 Lecturers from various study programs attended with high enthusiasm, ready to explore new information and insights presented by these activities.
The activity began with a warm welcome from Mr. Asrof Syafi'i, Head of Quality Assurance Institute (LPM) UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung. In his speech, Mr Asrof said "The importance of supporting the development of science through various programs provided by universities. He acknowledged the important role of BKP MBKM in providing opportunities for students to be involved in knowledge exchange and exchange of knowledge studies across PTKIN."
Encouraging Student Exchange Through MERPATI
After an inspiring opening speech, it's Mr. Syaiful Hadi's turn, Head of Curriculum Development Center, to be the main speaker. With enthusiasm, Mr. Syaiful introduced the BKP MBKM Program in detail. He highlighted how this program gives students the opportunity to take courses at other universities. One of the interesting points expressed by Mr. Syaiful was the invitation for fifth semester students to take part in student exchange activities via the MERPATI account. With enthusiasm, Mr. Syaiful shared, “Through student exchange, Students can exchange knowledge with each other, experience, and form a network that will be very valuable in the future.”
This speaker session was followed by a warm question and answer session. Students seemed very enthusiastic in asking questions regarding the implementation of the BKP MBKM Program, selection process, and details of opportunities accessible through the program. Several students also shared their views on the potential benefits of student exchange via the MERPATI account.
