LPM Holds Past Learning Recognition Workshop (RPL)

 

Tulungagung, 10 October 2024 – Quality Assurance Agency (LPM), UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung (UIN ONE) held a Past Learning Recognition Workshop (RPL). This event was held during 3 day, namely on the date 7-9 October 2024. This event was attended by 75 participant, namely the Chancellor, Deputy Chancellor I, Deputy Chancellor III, Kabiro, Dean, along with the head of the study program and study coordinator. The event took place at the Crown Victoria Hotel Tulungagung. The Past Learning Recognition Workshop aims to socialize the new RPL program to stakeholders, namely the heads of study programs and study program coordinators, as well as reviewing the curriculum in each study program so that this RPL can be implemented in each study program..

   

 

This event was opened by the Chancellor of UIN SATU, namely Prof. Dr. Abd. Aziz, M.Pd.I. Recognition of Past Learning (RPL), This is something new for the Study Program at UIN SATU, so there is no specific policy yet.", said the Chancellor of UIN SATU in his speech. Next he said:. “The study program must be at least Very Good accredited, which is a requirement for RPL. Please map the courses in all study programs. Therefore, We can accept graduates from formal and non-formal. If RPL is studied as well as possible, not just a guideline, but several aspects must also be prepared, including the assessment team, namely the special team that reviews the KKNI, SPMI, etc.” On the other hand, The head of LPM UIN SATU is Prof. Dr. Agus Zaenul Fitri, M.Pd in ​​his speech also said, "I am absolutely sure that UINSATU will achieve many achievements in the future. The leadership aspect will determine the achievements that will be achieved in the future." The main target of this activity is the preparation of RPL documents so that they can be registered with Sierra Ministry of Education and Culture.

 

The event continued with the presentation of material presented by the resource person, namely Dr. Drs. Ludfi ​​Djajanto, M.B.A. (Belmawa Team for Recognition of Past Learning). This activity aims to provide a deeper understanding of the principles and practices of RPL. In the material, He explained that “RPL allows students to gain recognition for the competencies they have previously acquired, so that it can make it easier for them to complete their study program. Through this workshop, We hope that all study programs at UIN SATU can better understand and apply the RPL method effectively to improve the quality of education."

Furthermore, The event continued with an interactive discussion session that facilitated the exchange of ideas and experiences between participants.
