In early August 2024, through a team of auditors who have been appointed, LPM UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung held an Internal Quality Audit process (AMI) in four faculties. Thursday, 1 August 2024, AMI was carried out at two faculties, namely FUAD and FTIK. As for Friday, 2 August 2024 AMI was carried out on FASIH and FEBI. Targeted study program, namely Library Science Study Program and Islamic Information, Religious Sociology Study Program (FUAD), Islamic Religious Education Study Program (FTIK), Sharia and Sharia Perbank Parisiwasta Study Program (Febi), Law Prodi (Fluent). This AMI activity is a monitoring and evaluation of the internal quality system (SPMI) with the latest applications through the website PPEPP | Login (uinsatu.ac.id).
Every study program is audited by three auditors, consists of two auditors and accompanied by one lead auditor. Before the auditor team goes to the field, study program or referred to as auditee has input data into the system. The data is then verified by the Faculty/Postgraduate Quality Assurance Cluster (GPMF). After that, the auditors do desk evaluation or evaluation, only then conducts field assessments for data verification and deepening.

After verifying data and deepening in the field, The auditors prepare audit reports for each study program. This report includes important findings, the strengths and weaknesses of the study program, and recommendations for improvement. The audit report is then submitted to the head of the study program and faculty to be followed up.

Based on the Audit Report, Study Programs and Faculties prepare a follow -up plan (RTL) to overcome weaknesses and improve the quality of education. This RTL includes concrete steps to be taken, Target Time Implementation, and the person in charge of each action. LPM then monitors the implementation of this RTL to ensure continuous improvement.

AMI results are also used as an evaluation and improvement of the overall internal quality assurance system. LPM analyzes trends and patterns that arise from audit results in various study programs and faculties. This analysis is the basis for formulating quality improvement policies and strategies at the institutional level.

Final, LPM will hold forums sharing AMI results involving all stakeholders in the institution. This forum aims to disseminate the best practices, Discuss challenges together, and build collective commitment to improve quality. Through this series of AMI activities, The institution seeks to continue to improve the quality of education and meet student expectations, public, as well as the world of work that continues to grow.

This AMI activity is expected to provide a comprehensive picture of the implementation of quality standards in each study program and faculty. The audit results will be an evaluation and preparation of improvement plans to improve the quality of education at UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung. Besides that, AMI results are also an important input for the external accreditation process. Findings from AMI Assist institutions in preparing themselves to face assessments from the National Accreditation Board or International Accreditation Institutions. This ensures the harmony between internal quality assurance and external quality standards.
