State Islamic University (UIN) One Tulungagung has held a process of preparing self -evaluation attachments (LED) accreditation involving various related parties, especially the manager of the study program both at the S-1 level, S-2, and S-3 whose accreditation period will run out in the year 2024. This activity aims to ensure that the preparation of accreditation documents can be carried out quickly and in accordance with existing templates, well as determined by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) and the Independent Accreditation Institution (LAM).
The process of preparing accreditation LEDs is very important to accelerate in ensuring that the study program accreditation period does not exceed or fall short 6 months before the end of the long accreditation period. This is done to ensure the completeness of relevant accreditation evidence related to each accreditation standard, like the curriculum, facility, lecturer, student, academic support, and so on.
Mr. Chancellor of UIN SATU Tulungagung, Mr Prof. Abd. Aziz, M.Pd.I was also present at this event to provide direct guidance to all participants and open the event. He gave an important message that it is important to always check the specific guidelines and requirements of the accreditation agency concerned, because the accreditation process can vary between institutions. He also emphasized that UIN SATU Tulungagung has a target to achieve superior status this year 2024, and invites all teams to prepare in that direction.
Apart from the process of preparing LED accreditation, The quality assurance agency UIN Satu Tulungagung also carries out accreditation coaching to ensure that study programs that will end their accreditation period in 2024 can carry out re-accreditation successfully. This is important in supporting improving the quality of higher education at these universities.
This activity lasts for 3 day in Malang and went smoothly and well. All teams involved in this activity showed high enthusiasm and great enthusiasm in carrying out their tasks. They are committed to providing the best in an effort to improve the quality of higher education at UIN Satu Tulungagung.
Thus, the process of preparing accreditation LEDs and accreditation coaching activities carried out by UIN Satu Tulungagung are concrete steps in supporting improving the quality of higher education in Indonesia. Hopefully with this effort, UIN Satu Tulungagung can achieve brilliant achievements and make a positive contribution to the progress of higher education in the future.
