Towards Excellence Together: Forum Group Discussion of the UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung Taskforce Team in Preparing for Higher Education Accreditation

On Wednesday to Friday, date 17-19 April 2024, Quality Assurance Institute (LPM) State Islamic University (UIN) Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung has held a Group Discussion Forum at Ijen Suite Malang. This event is a concrete step in order to support the preparation of the university in dealing with the accreditation process of tertiary institutions (APT) which is being undertaken.

This event was opened by the Chancellor of UIN SATU Tulungagung, Prof. Dr. Abd. Aziz, M.Pd.I, who directly leads the readiness inspection of the taskforce team. The Chancellor carefully checked the readiness of every aspect, starting from the criteria that must be met to the study program, faculty, and heads of institutions involved in the accreditation process. The Chancellor's direct approach shows a strong commitment from the leadership in ensuring the University's readiness to face this accreditation challenge.

Furthermore, The event continued with remarks from the Chair of the LPM, Prof. Dr. Agus Zaenul Fitri, M.Pd. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of maintaining enthusiasm and consistency, especially for the UIN SATU Tulungagung Taskforce Team. He reminded that the ideals of achieving excellence must be maintained and pursued together.

This Group Discussion Forum took place for three consecutive days. During the event, Prof. As'aril was also present and provided support in the process of filling out the APT form. The presence of Prof. As'aril who is patient and experienced is an added value in ensuring that the filling of the form is done carefully and accurately.

Total available 90 participants who are actively involved in this training. Every participant, especially each person responsible for the criteria 1-9, seriously continue filling out the APT form. The process of filling out the form includes filling in the yellow and LED cells, which is an important part in assessing the University's readiness to meet accreditation standards.

During the event, the atmosphere went smoothly. All teams looked enthusiastic and full of enthusiasm in making this accreditation process a success. The discussions that took place among the participants also reflected a high spirit of collaboration, where everyone contributes to achieving a common goal, namely making UIN SATU Tulungagung a superior university.

This Group Discussion Forum is an important momentum in UIN SATU Tulungagung's journey towards academic excellence. Through strong commitment and cooperation from all parties involved, The university is optimistic that it can achieve superior accreditation which is a common goal. Hopefully the steps taken in this event can bring satisfactory results for the future progress of UIN SATU Tulungagung.
