Tulungagung, 20 December 2023 – Quality Assurance Institute (LPM) UIN Satu Tulungagung has moved further in strengthening the quality foundation of education by holding a socialization event for the Internal Quality Assurance System Guidelines (SPMI) and standard operating procedures (SOP). The event that took place on Wednesday, 20 December 2023, At the Rector of Uin Sayyid Aliyid Ali Rahmatullah, is an important milestone in ensuring a deep understanding of the SPMI flow and SOP among the entire campus academic community.
After successfully holding the previous SOP preparation workshop, LPM UIN SATU Tulungagung took the next step by holding socialization of the SPMI guidelines and SOPs that had been prepared. This event is an integral part of the determination stage in the PPEPP cycle (Planning, Implementation, Evaluation, Repair, Refinement), which aims to ensure that all activities and services at UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah can be carried out with a high level of quality.

This socialization is an important momentum for all parties within UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah to understand and adopt quality principles in every aspect of academic and administrative activities.. With a good understanding of SPMI and SOP, It is hoped that the entire academic community can contribute actively in maintaining and improving the quality of education on campus.
The socialization activities were carried out by Prof. Sugeng Listyo from UIN MALIKI Malang, who has extensive experience in the field of education quality assurance. In his speech, Prof. Sugeng Listyo emphasized the importance of adhering to the PPEPP cycle as the foundation for realizing a culture of quality at UIN SATU Tulungagung.
“Adhering to the PPEPP cycle is the key to making quality a culture at UIN SATU Tulungagung. With a well integrated cycle, We can continue to carry out evaluations and improvements to improve the quality of education on an ongoing basis,” said Prof. Sugeng Listyo.

Socialization participants, consisting of lecturers, officials and administrative staff, actively involved in discussion and question and answer sessions to deepen their understanding of quality concepts in SPMI and SOP. They are also given the opportunity to share experiences and best practices in applying quality principles in their daily work.
Mrs. Dr. Ida Isnawati, as a representative of LPM UIN SATU Tulungagung, expressed his hope that this socialization would be the first step in building a strong quality culture on campus. “We hope that the understanding gained from this event can be implemented in real terms in every aspect of activities at UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung,” said Mrs. Dr. Ida Isnawati.

With the socialization of SPMI Guidelines and SOPs, UIN SATU Tulungagung emphasizes their commitment to improving the quality of education and services, and making quality culture an inseparable part of campus identity.
